(Services — 06)
Six services, one team.
The same engineers secure your estate and put AI to work inside it. Each service is scoped to a problem, delivered as code, and handed over.
Security Engineering
Detection engineering, cloud and identity security, with coverage mapped to MITRE ATT&CK.
Detections that map to how attackers actually move, built as code with tests. Cloud and identity controls designed from the control plane down.
What we deliver- 01Detection coverage map against MITRE ATT&CK, with gaps ranked by exploitability
- 02Detection rules in KQL, SPL and Sigma, versioned and unit-tested
- 03Cloud and identity hardening across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- 04Purple-team validation of every high-value detection
Fewer alerts, more true positives, and a coverage map leadership can read.
AI-Driven SOC
Private and hosted models built into SOC workflows to triage, investigate and cut noise, without data leaving your boundary.
Models that read telemetry and alerts before analysts do: filtering noise, adding context and drafting the first investigation. Private deployment when your data cannot leave.
What we deliver- 01AI triage and enrichment in front of your SIEM, SOAR or data lake
- 02On-premises model hosting for data that must stay inside your boundary
- 03Evaluation sets built from your own incident history
- 04Cost model for ingestion, storage and inference
Analysts spend their time on real incidents, not on sorting alerts.

Red teaming and runtime guardrails against prompt injection, tool abuse and data leakage, mapped to OWASP and MITRE ATLAS.
Your AI applications and agents tested the way an attacker would test them, then protected at runtime. Every finding mapped to OWASP and MITRE ATLAS.
What we deliver- 01Red-team campaign against the OWASP LLM Top 10 and agentic threats
- 02Tool permission design and MCP gateway policy
- 03Input, output and tool-result filtering, with PII redaction
- 04Adversarial eval suite wired into CI as a release gate
AI features ship on schedule without handing attackers a new way in.

Private models, RAG and third-party AI connected to your systems with access control, audit trails and privacy enforced by design.
AI connected to the systems where the value is, including legacy and OT, without opening new paths into them. Privacy and access rules enforced in the architecture, not in a policy document.
What we deliver- 01Reference architecture for private models, RAG and vendor AI
- 02Data minimisation, tokenisation and access control at every hop
- 03Integration with legacy and OT systems through one-way or brokered paths
- 04AI bill of materials and model-file scanning before production
AI in production that your privacy officer and your plant manager both sign off.

Governed agents that do real work in security and operations, with scoped permissions, human approval and a full action log.
Agents built for specific jobs in security and operations, with the least access they need. People approve anything that changes state, and every action is logged.
What we deliver- 01Agent design: tools, scopes, escalation paths and human checkpoints
- 02Integration with SIEM, EDR, identity and ticketing platforms
- 03Action log with reasoning and evidence for every step
- 04Weekly accuracy review against analyst verdicts
Tier-1 work done in minutes, with nothing done that nobody approved.
Case study: Agents on the night shiftAI Governance and Assurance
ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI RMF programs, AI inventories and risk registers, and board-ready reporting.
A clear picture of every AI system in use, who owns it and what could go wrong. A governance program your customers, auditors and board can check.
What we deliver- 01Discovery of real AI usage, including shadow AI
- 02AI policy, inventory and risk register with named owners
- 03ISO/IEC 42001 readiness and NIST AI RMF mapping
- 04Evidence pack for auditors, customers and regulators
A defensible answer when a customer or the board asks how you govern AI.

Common questions.
What does MarkCyber do?
MarkCyber is a Toronto cybersecurity company built for the AI era. We engineer detections as code, run AI-assisted SOC operations, test and protect LLM applications and AI agents, and deploy AI safely inside regulated and legacy environments. One engineering team covers both your defences and the AI working inside them.
What is an AI-driven SOC?
An AI-driven SOC puts models in front of the alert queue. They read telemetry, filter noise, add context and draft the first investigation before an analyst opens the case, so analysts spend their time on decisions instead of triage. We deploy it privately when your data cannot leave your environment.
How do you secure LLM applications and AI agents?
We test them the way an attacker would: prompt injection, tool abuse, data exfiltration and privilege escalation. Then we add runtime protections that hold up in production. Every finding maps to the OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS, so the results fit your existing risk register.
Can AI be deployed safely in regulated or legacy environments?
Yes, when the architecture enforces the rules. We connect AI to the systems where the value is, including OT and legacy platforms, without opening new paths into them. Privacy and access controls are built into the design rather than left to a policy document.
Which security frameworks do you map to?
NIST CSF 2.0, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, OWASP Agentic AI, MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS and IEC 62443. Deliverables reference the controls they satisfy, so evidence for auditors falls out of the work itself.
Do you replace our security team or MSSP?
No. We build and hand over. Your team keeps the keys: detections arrive as code with tests, agents arrive with approval gates and logs, and every engagement ends with your engineers running what we built.
How does an engagement start?
With a 30-minute briefing with an engineer, not a sales call. You bring one problem, and you leave with a clear answer and a scoped proposal when the fit is real. Email hello@markcyber.ca or book a slot from any page.
Start with one question.
Thirty minutes with an engineer. You leave with a clear answer, not a pitch.
