What this site collects

This site is static. Our hosting and network providers keep standard server logs, such as IP address, time and page requested, to keep the site secure and available.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and processes your IP address (Google truncates it before storage). We do not use it for advertising or advertising personalization, and we do not sell or share the data. You choose whether these cookies are set. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, analytics cookies stay off until you accept them. Elsewhere they are on until you decline. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline. Your choice is stored in your browser, and you can change it at any time with , also in the footer of every page. Before you accept, or after you decline, Google Analytics may still receive cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed, which Google uses to model aggregate traffic without identifying you. You can also block it with any content blocker, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data.

Google API data

We run internal tools that connect to Google APIs (the Google Ads API, the Google Search Console API and the Google Analytics Data and Admin APIs) using our own Google account, to research search keywords and review this site's search performance. These tools only access Google accounts owned by MarkCyber. Data received from these APIs, such as keyword volumes, search performance figures and aggregate site traffic reports, is used only for our internal marketing research, is stored on our own systems, and is not sold or shared with third parties. We delete it when it is no longer needed for that research. MarkCyber's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
